Once you arrive in the Interlaken holiday region, the choice of excursions and leisure activities is almost limitless. The surrounding mountains entice with panoramic hikes, enjoyable summit restaurants or impressive railway experiences.

Adrenalin junkies will also get their money's worth with rafting, canyoning, parachuting, paragliding or a challenging mountain bike tour. It is not without reason that the region bears the title of »Europe's No. 1 adventure playground«.

For children there are stalactite caves, the numerous theme paths or the climbing garden to experience and discover all kinds of things.

To whet your appetite for camping holidays around Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, we have put together a selection of excursion destinations and leisure activities for you below. Your host will be pleased to help you organise a varied holiday programme on site.

Regiopass, Jungfrau Travel Pass and SBB Junior Travelcard

If you like to travel a lot by train in the mountains, then one of the frequent traveller offers might be worthwhile for you. With the Jungfrau Travel Pass you can choose to travel on the Jungfrau Travel Pass network for three to eight days.

The Bernese Oberland Regional Pass offers free travel and discounts for your excursions by rail, bus, boat and mountain railways on three, four, six, eight or ten days.

If you are travelling with children, we recommend the SBB Junior Trabvelcard: Children up to their sixth birthday travel free of charge on public transport when accompanied by their parents. After that, the Junior Travelcard provides free travel for Fr. 30.00/year until their 16th birthday. From the third child onwards, the Junior Travelcard is free of charge.
